Stop repeating steps and start dancing with your own essence.
Have you ever felt that, when dancing solo, your movements look stiff or “mechanical”? Does it happen to you that you don’t know what to do with your arms or feel that you are simply repeating a sequence without adding your own flavor?
If you want to stop being a “copy” of steps and start understanding how to move your body with elegance, fluidity, and confidence, this course is for you.
In Salsa Lady Style (I), we are not going to teach you a 2-minute routine that you will forget the following week. My goal is to accompany you in a process of personal transformation, breaking down each movement as if we were in a private session, so that you understand the “why” behind each adornment and can apply it to any song and with any step.
What makes this course different?
- Private Lesson Approach: Forget about group classes where you just follow the teacher. Here we break down the technique from scratch, step by step, so you can integrate it into your muscle memory.
- Modular Adornments: You will learn adornments in an isolated way. This means you won’t depend on a specific “sequence”; you will know how to add that arm movement or that turn at the moment you decide.
- Real Technique, not just aesthetics: It’s not about “looking pretty,” but about understanding how footwork, core, and breathing create the organic movement you’re looking for.
- Multi-Support Format: Detailed videos, written material to go deeper, and quizzes to ensure you are consolidating the concepts.
What will you learn in this course?
This basic level is structured into 4 key modules designed to build your style from the ground up:
1. The Basic Step: Your Foundation
The basic step is the heart of salsa. You will learn to transform it into something powerful and feminine by working on:
- Wrists and Hands: The secret of an undulating and elegant finish.
- Arms: How to move them from the back to project energy and fluidity.
- Core and Hips: The dissociation needed to gain that “groove” and Latin flavor.
- Footwork: Metatarsal technique to move with lightness and precision.
2. Adornments: Creating Your Own Dictionary
This is where the magic happens. You will learn arm and hand adornments in an isolated way (we will even practice sitting down to focus to the max!). You will understand the paths and key points so you can later play with them and create your own combinations.
3. Style in Turns
You will master the mechanics of the turn (right and left) while maintaining axis and balance, then add styling to them. You will learn to coordinate your arms without losing the rhythm, making your turns look clean and professional.
4. Fusion: Bring Your Dance to Life
We will bring together everything you’ve learned. We will see how to integrate those adornments into fundamental salsa steps in an organic way. In the end, you will have the freedom to choose which adornment to use in each step, creating a dance that is 100% yours.
